Christy is currently the Head of Customer Success at BloomReach. She is an experienced strategy and technology professional with strong quantitative and team skills. Personally, she is passionate about heart safety for everyone. Christy joined the Racing Hearts Board of Directors in 2016.
Maryann is the Marketing Lead for Global Recruiting Services at Apple. She has proven results to develop, manage, and execute meaningful go-to-market plans and sustained marketing communications. Maryann joined the Racing Hearts Board of Directors in 2016.
Lisa is a former Marketing Director, Corporate Auditor and Stock Broker within Charles Schwab & Co. Lisa is also currently the Racing Hearts Treasurer and the Racing Hearts - Santa Clara County Wide AED program coordinator. Lisa joined the Racing Hearts Board of Directors in 2015.
Dennis has been employed with the Palo Alto Police Department for the last thirty-four years and is currently the police chief. With his long standing leadership and experience, Dennis is proud to engage in strong impactful community nonprofits such as Racing Hearts. Dennis has been on the Racing Hearts Board of Directors since 2016.
Cindy is currently an Associate Clinical Professor & Sports Medicine physician at UCSF Orthopaedic Institute and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. She is the former Head Team Physician for UC-Berkeley, and Past President of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Cindy served as Chief Medical Officer and was responsible for medical care of Team USA at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics and 2012 London Olympics. Cindy joined the Racing Hearts Board of Directors in 2014.
Jon is currently Partner of Premier Properties Commercial Real Estate. He is a highly experienced manager in real estate within leasing, sales, construction, development, property management and financial analysis. He was a leadership Palo Alto fellow and is passionate about advising high impact community nonprofits. Jon joined the Racing Hearts Board of Directors in 2014.
Stephanie was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy ("an enlarged heart") at age 23 after experiencing an aborted Sudden Cardiac Arrest while climbing up Yosemite's Half Dome. In addition to being the founder of Racing Hearts, Stephanie is a Speech Pathologist at the Palo Alto Veteran Affairs Hospital, and has been a medical contributor to research findings relative to Traumatic Brain Injuries. Stephanie is also the Project Director of the Santa Clara County Wide AED program and oversees all Racing Hearts operations.
Heidi is a Clincial Nurse Specialist with the Stanford Center for Inherited Cardiovascular Disease. Heidi is dedicated to caring for individuals and family members living with or at risk for heart disease. Heidi is passionate about improving access to life saving defibrillators in our community. She has served on the Racing Hearts Board of Directors since 2014.
Shari is an expert in Marketing and Graphic Communications. She is the former Communication Program Manager at McAfee and Intel with expertise in brand development, product launches, and creative design and development. Shari joined the Racing Hearts Board of Directors in 2012.
