Claire W. - SCA Survivor

I was 23 years old when I experienced an unexplained cardiac arrest while I was running in the Los Gatos-Saratoga Trails.  I now know how lucky I was not only to survive but also to have family and friends to take care of all the things I was no longer able to do on my own.  Experiencing such a tragic situation can cause you to go through many different emotions, experiences, and hardships.  Which can be very difficult to handle especially with a new brain injury.  It will be 9 years for me in January since my cardiac arrest, I've lost jobs, friendships and struggled with many other medical and personal things.  I want to offer my experience to help others hopefully manager their new situation with more confidence and positivity.  Click here to read Claire's blog!
